Article Publication Charge (APC) Policy

Effective July 1, 2025, Makara Journal of Science will implement an Article Publication Charge (APC) of USD 550 (inclusive of VAT) for each manuscript accepted for publication. We emphasize that there is no fee for manuscript submission or peer review. The APC applies only after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and is formally accepted for publication. This policy ensures that editorial decisions remain entirely independent of financial considerations.

The APC covers costs associated with editorial workflow, peer-review management, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and open-access hosting—ensuring your work remains freely accessible to readers worldwide.

Payment Options
Upon acceptance, authors will receive an invoice with detailed payment instructions.
The APC can be paid through: Bank Transfer (provide information).
