Welcome to Jurnal Vokasi Indonesia (JVI)

Jurnal Vokasi Indonesia (JVI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Indonesia. Established in 2013, JVI serves as a multidisciplinary platform for disseminating original research that advances applied knowledge, professional practices, technological innovation, and evidence-based solutions to contemporary challenges in industry, public services, and society.

JVI welcomes scholarly contributions from diverse academic and professional disciplines, particularly those that connect scientific inquiry, theoretical development, and empirical evidence with practical applications. The journal aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, strengthen the relationship between research and professional practice, and promote knowledge that contributes to institutional development, economic advancement, social well-being, and sustainable development.

The journal covers a broad range of applied research areas, including business and management, accounting and finance, taxation, economics and entrepreneurship, information and communication technology, engineering and technological innovation, health sciences and allied health professions, communication and media studies, tourism and hospitality, public administration, social development, as well as vocational and professional education.

JVI publishes original research articles employing quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and other rigorous research approaches appropriate to the research questions. Submissions are expected to demonstrate scientific merit, methodological rigor, originality, and clear theoretical or practical contributions to their respective fields.

Through its multidisciplinary and application-oriented perspective, JVI seeks to bridge academic research and real-world practices, encourage collaboration among researchers, practitioners, industry professionals, and policymakers, and support the dissemination of knowledge that addresses emerging challenges at local, national, and international levels.
