Author Guidelines
This document provides details on submission to Jurnal Konstitusi & Demokrasi.
Formatting Requirements
- Submit full paper (only one documents) with the article length of approximately 4.000 - 10.000 words including footnotes and bibliography
- Submit your manuscript, including tables, figures, appendices, etc., as a single file (Word, RTF, or PDF files are accepted).
- The language used in the article is written in Indonesian with the provision of including the title, abstract, and keywords in English.
- Page size should be 8.5 x 11-inches.
- All margins (left, right, top and bottom) should be 2.5 cm, including your tables and figures.
- Single space your text.
- Use a single column layout with both left and right margins justified.
- Font:
- Title—13 pt. Goudy Old Style or the closest comparable font available
- Author's Names and Affiliations—12 pt. Goudy Old Style or the closest comparable font available
- Main Body (including abstracts and keywords)—11 pt. Goudy Old Style or the closest comparable font available
- Footnotes—10 pt. Goudy Old Style or the closest comparable font available
- Article's Structure:
- Introduction: contains the background of the article, the formulation of the problem to be studied in the article, a review of the literature on the topic of the article (if any), and the research methods used in the preparation of the article.
- Discussions: at the very least contains the theory that correlates with the problem of the article, a review of the legal basis of the problem, and an analysis of the theory and legal basis related to the resolution of the problem. The division is done in the form of II, III, and so on.
- Conclusions: written narratively in several paragraphs to answer the formulation of the problem based on the discussion that has been described without the need to distinguish parts between conclusions and suggestions.
- The bibliography is compiled using reference applications such as Mendeley, EndNote or Zotero with the format of the Chicago Manual of Style 16th style which is categorized based on the type of source in the form of books, journals, papers, essays in a collection of writings, and the internet. Sources are arranged alphabetically within each category.
- If figures are included, use high-resolution figures, preferably encoded as encapsulated PostScript (eps).
- Copyedit your manuscript.
- When possible, there should be no pages where more than a quarter of the page is empty space.
