We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Environmental Science and Sustainable Development (JESSD) has been successfully indexed in Scopus, one of the most comprehensive abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature. This significant milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to publishing rigorous, innovative research in environmental science and sustainable development. The Scopus indexing elevates JESSD's global visibility and impact within the scientific community, providing our authors with enhanced international recognition.

To maintain our position among leading scholarly publications and further enhance the quality and impact of our journal, we are implementing revised policies regarding Article Processing Charges (APC) and manuscript withdrawals, effective April 10, 2025. These policies are aligned with international standards of scholarly publishing and reflect our dedication to sustainable, high-quality scientific communication.

Important Note for Ongoing Submissions: For manuscripts submitted before April 10, 2025, that are still under review or in the publication pipeline, please note that the mandatory proofreading requirement will still apply once your article is accepted. All manuscripts, regardless of their submission date, must undergo professional proofreading after receiving an acceptance decision. This requirement ensures consistent quality standards across all JESSD publications as we transition to our new policies.
