The ASEAN Journal of Community Engagement (AJCE) is an international publication dedicated to community engagement initiatives. It aims to advance theories, research, and practices surrounding community engagement. The journal features topics within the global discourse on community empowerment and participation, focusing on research-based practice and innovative interventions. In doing so, AJCE celebrates the diversity of social, cultural, and economic conditions while empowering local and grassroots communities.
AJCE encourages original research related to community engagement programs, development of societal interventions, evaluation of existing programs, and theoretical discussions or reviews on community engagement aspects. The journal covers a wide range of topics related to community development, services, empowerment, and outreach. It emphasizes multidisciplinary perspectives in understanding community engagement, highlighting contributions from various disciplines such as health, economy, technology, education, and environment.
