Jurnal of Middle East and Islamic Studies (MEIS) (ISSN 2242-6946 and E-ISSN 2685-239X) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually (January-June and July-December) by the University of Indonesia and managed by the Middle East and Islamic Studies Program, School of Strategic and Global Studies, University of Indonesia. The focus and scope of the MEIS journal is the study of the Middle East and Islam from various aspects including; Politics, Economy, Military, Energy, Culture, Islamic Economics, Halal Industry, Sufism, Psychology and others.
