About This Journal

The Journal of Project Management & Construction (JPMC) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and professional practice in the fields of project management and construction engineering. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals to disseminate high-quality scientific contributions related to the planning, execution, monitoring, and sustainability of projects and construction systems.

JPMC focuses on the broad spectrum of project management disciplines, particularly the ten knowledge areas defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide 6th Edition), including project integration management, project scope management, project schedule management, project cost management, project quality management, project resource management, project communications management, project risk management, project procurement management, and project stakeholder management.

In addition, the journal welcomes studies in related areas such as construction management, infrastructure management, sustainable construction, Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction technology and innovation, engineering economics, smart infrastructure, occupational health and safety in construction, and project finance.

Published biannually, JPMC aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by publishing original research articles, review papers, technical notes, and case studies that contribute to the development of project management and construction knowledge worldwide.

JPMC is published by the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia https://civil.ui.ac.id/, and is committed to promoting academic excellence, international collaboration, and sustainable innovation within the global project management and construction community.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Project Management & Construction (JPMC) is published twice a year (biannually). In addition to regular issues, JPMC may publish Special Issues focusing on emerging topics, contemporary challenges, and innovative developments relevant to project management and construction.
