Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings

Volume 5, Issue 1 (2026) Advancing Sustainable Engineering: Materials Innovation and Energy Systems for a Net-Zero Future

We are honored to present Volume 5, Issue 1 of the Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings (JMEF), which brings together a collection of pioneering studies focused on the transition toward sustainable industrial practices and energy resilience. This issue explores a broad spectrum of critical themes, including techno-economic evaluations of hybrid renewable energy systems and carbon capture technologies for the cement industry, as well as strategic risk assessments for green hydrogen supply chains.

Furthermore, we highlight advancements in sustainable manufacturing through eco-friendly casting mold compositions, structural integrity assessments using fitness-for-service methodologies, and the projected impacts of electric vehicle integration on regional emissions. By bridging the gap between fundamental materials research and practical engineering applications, these contributions offer vital insights for researchers and policy-makers striving to achieve net-zero targets and industrial excellence.

We hope this issue serves as a catalyst for further innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of materials and energy systems.
