Publication Charges

The JDVI is an open access journal. It does not apply any charges for readers or institutions for accessing the articles. However there are charge for submission and publication of manuscripts.

For manuscript submitted from January 2023, there will be a publication fee of 100 USD (1,5 Million IDR) for for articles published in our journal.

Who Can Submit?

Anyone may submit an original article to be considered for publication in Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works (an exception in the non-academic world to this might exist if the authors have, as a condition of employment, agreed to transfer copyright to their employer).

General Submission Rules

Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). Please note: "publication" in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In addition, by submitting material to Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia, the author is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that he or she will not submit the material to another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia. Formatting Requirements

Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia has no general rules about the formatting of articles upon initial submission. There are, however, rules governing the formatting of the final submission. See Final Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for details. Although bepress can provide limited technical support, it is ultimately the responsibility of the author to produce an electronic version of the article as a high-quality PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) file, or a Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or RTF file that can be converted to a PDF file.

It is understood that the current state of technology of Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) is such that there are no, and can be no, guarantees that documents in PDF will work perfectly with all possible hardware and software configurations that readers may have.

General Terms and Conditions of Use

Users of the UI Scholars Hub website and/or software agree not to misuse the UI Scholars Hub service or software in any way.

The failure of UI Scholars Hub to exercise or enforce any right or provision in the policies or the Submission Agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any term of the Submission Agreement or these policies is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Submission Agreement and these policies remain in full force and effect. These policies and the Submission Agreement constitute the entire agreement between UI Scholars Hub and the Author(s) regarding submission of the Article.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology and Venereology Indonesia agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology and Venereology Indonesia right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to remix, adapt, build upon the work non-commercially with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology and Venereology Indonesia.
  2. Authors are permitted to copy and redistribute the abstract of the journal's published version of the work non-commercially (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology and Venereology Indonesia.
All statements in articles are the responsibility of the authors.

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript will be first reviewed by an editor and evaluated for acceptance. Criteria of acceptance for all papers are its originality, quality, and significance to the readers. Then, the manuscript will be checked for plagiarism through iThenticate. All papers will be double-blind peer reviewed by two reviewers, the papers will be sent anonymously. The final decision of acceptance or rejection will be made by the Editorial Board.

Open Access Policy

This journal is an open access journal that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
