Updated Policies, Publication Ethics, and Author Guidelines
JDVI has updated its journal policies, publication ethics, and author guidelines to strengthen editorial standards, promote research integrity, and provide greater clarity and transparency throughout the manuscript submission, peer-review, and publication processes. The updated policies include provisions on submission and originality, authorship and contributorship, peer review, publication ethics, artificial intelligence, copyright and licensing, open access, funding and conflicts of interest, archiving, and other terms governing publication in JDVI. Authors, reviewers, and editorial team members are encouraged to review the updated policies and guidelines before submitting or handling manuscripts.

Renewal of SINTA 2 Accreditation
The Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia (JDVI) has successfully renewed its SINTA 2 accreditation under Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, issued on June 28, 2026. The renewed accreditation covers publications from 2025 to 2029.

Introduction of Submission Fee
JDVI introduced a submission fee for all manuscripts submitted to the journal, effective July 2023.

Indexed in ProQuest
JDVI was successfully indexed in ProQuest, expanding the journal's international discoverability and accessibility.

Introduction of Article Processing Charge
JDVI introduced an Article Processing Charge for new manuscripts submitted to the journal. The publication fee is charged upon acceptance and before publication.
