Publication Frequency

Masyarakat: Jurnal Sosiologi is published two times a year in January and July.

Peer Review Statement

All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial screening by the co-editors and members of the editorial board followed by anonymous refereeing. From 2010 to 2022 all articles were published on journal.ui.ac.id/mjs. In 2023, we transitioned to https://scholarhub.ui.ac.id/mjs/. Read the Author Guideline and Publication Policies before submitting your article.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

Masyarakat: Jurnal Sosiologi utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for the purpose of preservation and restoration.

Copyright Notice

With publication through Masyarakat: Jurnal Sosiologi, authors give the copyright of their articles completely (including abstract, tables, graphics, illustrations) to LabSosio, Departemen Sosiologi, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, including rights to republish in any form of media publication.
