Focus and Scope
The focus of Kesmas: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat Nasional (National Public Health Journal) is on public health as discipline and practices related to preventive and promotive measures to enhance the public health through a scientific approach applying a variety of technique. This focus includes areas and scopes such as Biostatistics and Population Studies, Epidemiology, Health Education and Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy and Administration, Environmental Health, Public Health Nutrition, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Quality of Health Services, and Occupational Health and Safety.
The journal employs a peer-review mechanism in which each article submitted must be anonymously reviewed by expert peers appointed by the Editor. Articles published in this journal could be both research/original articles and non-research articles (brief reports, case reports, opinions, commentaries, editorials, and correspondence).
