Focus and Scope

The focus of Kesmas: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat Nasional (National Public Health Journal) is on public health as discipline and practices related to preventive and promotive measures to enhance the public health through a scientific approach applying a variety of technique. This focus includes areas and scopes such as Public Health, International Public Health, Community Health, Epidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology, Environmental Public Health, Environmental Studies, Biostatistics, Geographic Infromation Sciences, Health Information Technology, Spatial Science, Food Studies, Nutrition, Health Service Administration, Health Services Research, Public Health Education and Promotion, Women's Health, Maternal and Child Health, Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene, and Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

The journal employs a peer-review mechanism in which each article submitted must be anonymously reviewed by expert peers appointed by the Section Editor. However, the reviewers and Section Editor will be disclosed once the article is published. Articles published in this journal could be both research/original articles and non-research articles (brief reports, case reports, opinions, commentaries, editorials, and correspondence).
