The Journal of Dentistry Indonesia has undergone name changes. The journal previously also known as:
- Jurnal Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia (1993-2004; ISSN 0854-364X)
- Journal of Dentistry Indonesia (2007-2009; ISSN 1693-9697) Indonesian Journal of Dental Research (April-August 2010; ISSN 2086-8502)
As per December 2010, the name Journal of Dentistry Indonesia with ISSN 1693-9697 was used and the e-ISSN was 2355-4800)
