About This Journal

Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia (JAKI) is a scholarly open-access journal specializing in accounting and finance research. Established in 2004, JAKI is committed to publishing high-quality research that advances accounting knowledge, practices, and the profession. All content is freely available to readers and their institutions. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full texts of articles for any lawful purpose without prior permission from the publisher or authors, in accordance with the journal's open-access policy.

Manuscript Types

JAKI accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  1. Research Paper: Reports original empirical or conceptual research that contributes to knowledge in accounting and finance. Submissions may adopt quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.
  2. Literature Review: Provides a critical and systematic synthesis of existing literature on a relevant accounting or finance topic, identifying key debates, research gaps, and directions for future research. This category includes systematic literature reviews and other rigorous review approaches.

    3. Publication Frequency

    JAKI is published biannually, with issues released in June and December.

    Peer Review Process

    JAKI employs a double-blind peer review process for each manuscript, involving editors and at least two reviewers. The decision to publish an article considers factors such as relevance, contribution to accounting practices and the profession, and adherence to publication requirements. Editors and reviewers provide evaluations and constructive suggestions for authors.

    Review process stages:

    1. Plagiarism screening using Turnitin software
    2. Initial review by desk editor
    3. Initial review by editor
    4. Peer review by at least two independent reviewers
    5. Revision and resubmission by the authors
    6. Final review by editor

    Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia does not allow any plagiarism actions. All submitted articles will be screened using Turnitin software, to detect whether manuscripts contain plagiarism.
