Focus and Scope

The CSID Journal of Infrastructure Development is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research and practices in the global infrastructure sector. The journal serves as a multidisciplinary platform for academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and government institutions worldwide to engage in scholarly discussions and practical innovations in infrastructure development. Our mission is to foster knowledge exchange on emerging trends, technological advancements, and policy frameworks that shape infrastructure systems on a global scale. We invite high-quality submissions addressing theoretical developments, applied research, and case studies relevant to infrastructure challenges in diverse geographical and socio-economic contexts.

Topic of interest include, but not limited to;

  1. Infrastructure and Transportation Systems: Road, railway, seaport, airport infrastructure development, including international case studies and comparative analyses.
  2. Urban and Rural Planning: Smart and healthy cities, land use planning, utilities, ICT integration, and cross-border urban development strategies.
  3. Sustainability and Environmental Resilience: Climate adaptation, renewable energy systems, water and wastewater management, and sustainability practices in urban development.
  4. Infrastructure Finance and Asset Management: Life-cycle cost analysis, risk assessment, public-private partnerships, and economic models of infrastructure investment.
  5. Digital Transformation in the Built Environment: The role of building information modeling (BIM), digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning in global infrastructure innovation.

The CSID Journal of Infrastructure Development is committed to providing international perspective, welcoming submissions from authors across all continents and covering infrastructure developments in various regional and economic settings. The journal actively encourages interdisciplinary research and fosters collaborations between different sectors, addressing both developed and emerging economies. We publish research papers, theoretical explorations, and review articles that provide critical insights and solutions to infrastructure challenges worldwide.
