Abstract

This research is a literature review which aims to determine the influence of the work environment and work supervision on employee performance. In the corporate world, good employee performance is very important to achieve competitive advantage. Therefore, understanding the factors that can influence employee performance is key important. There are various factors that can influence employee performance, for example the work environment and work supervision. The work environment is everything that surrounds employees and influences them in carrying out the tasks assigned to them. A conducive work environment allows employees to work optimally. Apart from that, supervision is also an important factor in improving employee performance. Supervision is carried out to ensure that all planned activities can be carried out as well as possible. In this literature review, data was collected through a review of previous research that had been conducted regarding the influence of the work environment and work supervision on employee performance. From the results of literature analysis of selected journals, it appears that the work environment and work supervision have an influence on employee performance.

Bahasa Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah kajian literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dalam dunia perusahaan, kinerja karyawan yang baik sangatlah penting untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Oleh karena itu, memahami faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan menjadi key important. Terdapat beragam faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, misalnya adalah lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja adalah segala sesuatu yang berada di sekitar karyawan dan mempengaruhi dalam menjalankan tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif memungkinkan karyawan bekerja secara optimal. Selain itu, pengawasan juga menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Pengawasan dilakukan untuk memastikan seluruh kegiatan yang telah direncanakan dapat dilaksanakan dengan sebaik mungkin. Dalam kajian literatur ini, data dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan terhadap penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang telah dilakukan mengenai pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dari hasil analisis literatur terhadap jurnal terpilih, terlihat bahwa lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.
