Abstract

In mining companies take various preventive measures to prevent accidents and incidents. The number of mining accidents in Indonesia is relatively high, which is said to be due to inadequate monitoring and assessment of mines. The phenomenon that accidents still occur in companies with a high safety culture can be caused by several complex, interrelated factors. There are only a few studies on the correlation between safety culture and people safety awareness, safety leadership, and reward-punishment, and 140 employee miners from mining companies using a non-probability sampling method in this cross-sectional study. This research is a quantitative approach that uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to get information from coal miners and uses a five-stage likert scale to look at the data and correlation analysis and logistical regression methods to explore factors that influence job burnout using validity and reliability tests, as well as SPSS and Smart-PLS analyses. The results of the research showed that this safety leadership had a positive effect on safety culture, higher than people safety awareness and reward punishment variables, which had a significant and positive impact on job burnout.
