Aims and Scope

Aims

Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (PSR), an international, peer-reviewed, open access, and official journal from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Indonesia, aims to disseminate research results and findings in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Practices. PSR publishes content in the English language to promote the sharing of knowledge among international scholars. PSR publishes five types of articles:

  1. Original articles
  2. Case reports
  3. Case series
  4. Review articles
  5. Mini review articles

Scope

This journal focuses on advancing research in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice to improve medication use and support stronger health systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that address: - Pharmaceutical innovations, including drug discovery, drug development, drug analytical methods, and drug delivery systems from local natural products and synthetic compounds, targeting both communicable and non-communicable diseases prevalent in LMICs. - Pharmaceutical care emphasizes rational use, safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness with relevance for improving patient outcomes in diverse healthcare settings in LMICs. In each issue, there are articles conducted in LMICs. However, we also welcome articles from HICs (high-income countries).
