Abstract
Design of Generating Dual Frequency Operation for Triangular Microstrip Antenna Using Electromagnetic Coupling. A new design is proposed in this paper by applying a pair of slits using a microstrip feed line. Therefore the microstrip line feeding system is electromagnetically coupled to the patch. The antenna works at two different frequencies in the range from 2 GHz to 4 GHz (S band frequency). The results of the simulation shows that the dual frequency operation can be created when the slit width is 1 mm and the height of the slits ranges from 10 mm to 14 mm with inter slit distance of 3 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm as well.
Bahasa Abstract
Makalah ini melaporkan penelitian pada antena mikrostrip segitiga sama sisi dengan menggunakan pengumpan saluran mikrostrip untuk dapat membangkitkan frekuensi ganda dengan menambahkan sepasang celah pada alas segitiga itu. Pengumpanan semacam ini disebut pengumpanan sambatan elektromagnetik.. Antena mikrostrip ini bekerja pada buah frekuensi yang beroperasi di dalam jangkau frekuensi antara 2 GHz dan 4 GHz (daerah frekuensi S band). Dari hasil simulasi terlihat bahwa frekuensi ganda antena mikrostrip segitiga sama sisi ini dapat dibangkitkan dengan lebar celah yang dibuat tetap sebesar 1 mm, sedangkan tinggi celah dapat diubah-ubah dari 10 mm sampai 14 mm dan jarak antar celah dapat diatur, mula-mula 3 mm kemudian 5 mm dan selanjutnya menjadi 7 mm.
