Aims & Scope

The topics considered for publication in JEEK include, but not limited to, the followings:

  • Current demographic issues: demographic bonus, fertility and the value of children, mortality, migration, intergenerational transfers, etc.
  • Labor market and household characteristics: unemployment and household economic backgrounds, female labor force participation and household production activities, child labor, etc.
  • Education and human capital: gender equality in family education, and children's educational achievement, vocational education, non formal training, and children's educational attainment, etc.
  • Poverty and household inequality: poverty in agricultural households, food insecurity and social assistance, household poverty and infant mortality, etc.
  • Family issues: age at first marriage, marriage and divorce, stunting, family planning, elderly care, the sandwich generation etc.
