About This Journal

Journal History

Cities and Urban Development Journal (CUDJ) is an Indonesian-based, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year, in July and December. It provides a platform for the dissemination and exchange of knowledge through original research articles and review papers addressing significant and emerging issues in urban studies, particularly those relevant to the developing world.

To maintain high academic standards, all submitted manuscripts undergo editorial pre-screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process. The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations. The editorial board comprises scholars and experts in relevant fields. All accepted manuscripts are also subjected to plagiarism and similarity checks prior to publication.
