Abstract
Sustainable rural tourism development requires integrated planning that balances environmental conservation, community participation, and local economic growth. Agro-ecotourism has emerged as an important approach to support village-based tourism development in environmentally sensitive areas. Ciputri Village in Cianjur Regency has been designated as a tourism village and possesses considerable agro-based and ecological potential. However, tourism development remains suboptimal due to limited public awareness, low visitor numbers, and fragmented strategic planning. This study aims to assess agro-ecotourism potential and to formulate priority development strategies. An integrated approach combining Participatory Geographic Information Systems (P-GIS), SWOT-based EFAS/IFAS analysis, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied. Participatory mapping involving five stakeholders identified 11 agro-ecotourism attractions. The results indicate that Ciputri Village is positioned in the Strength–Opportunity quadrant. Environmental and socio-cultural aspects emerged as the highest priorities, and a growth-oriented strategy emphasizing concentration through vertical integration was identified as the most appropriate development approach.
Bahasa Abstract
Pembangunan pariwisata desa yang berkelanjutan memerlukan perencanaan terpadu yang menyeimbangkan konservasi lingkungan, partisipasi masyarakat, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Agroekowisata telah muncul sebagai pendekatan penting untuk mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berbasis desa di kawasan yang sensitif secara lingkungan. Desa Ciputri di Kabupaten Cianjur telah ditetapkan sebagai desa wisata dan memiliki potensi agro-ekologis yang signifikan. Namun, pengembangan pariwisatanya masih belum optimal akibat kesadaran publik yang rendah, jumlah pengunjung yang sedikit, dan perencanaan strategis yang terfragmentasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menilai potensi agro-ekowisata dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan prioritas. Pendekatan terintegrasi yang menggabungkan Sistem Informasi Geografis Partisipatif (P-GIS), analisis EFAS/IFAS berbasis SWOT, dan Proses Hierarki Analitik (AHP) digunakan dalam studi ini. Pemetaan partisipatif yang melibatkan lima pemangku kepentingan mengidentifikasi 11 atraksi agro-ekowisata. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Desa Ciputri berada di kuadran Kekuatan-Peluang. Aspek lingkungan dan sosio-budaya muncul sebagai prioritas tertinggi, dan strategi pertumbuhan yang menekankan konsentrasi melalui integrasi vertikal diidentifikasi sebagai pendekatan pengembangan yang paling tepat.
