Abstract
Education liberalization has become a hot topic of discussion in Indonesia lately, starting with bringing in foreign higher education leaders to Indonesian universities; in the Industrial 4.0 era, Indonesia still lacks qualified information technology experts to support industry 4.0. Educational sciences in Indonesia are now considered to be still unable to compete with educational sciences abroad. The liberalization of education will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the development of academic science in the development of the Indonesian nation. The problem is this paper focuses on the issue of the low quality of education in the field of information technology and the preparation of Indonesian regulatory policies related to education liberalization with the aim that education liberalization can improve the quality of education and competent human resources and can meet the needs of quality human resources. in the Industry 4.0 era.

Bahasa Abstract
Liberalisasi pendidikan telah menjadi pembahasan yang hangat di Indonesia belakangan ini, yang dimulai dari mendatangkan pemimpin pendidikan tinggi luar negeri ke perguruan tinggi indonesia, pada era Industri 4.0 Indonesia masih kekurangan tenaga ahli teknologi informasi yang berkualitas dalam mendukung industry 4.0. ilmu pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia sekarang dinilai masih belum mampu bersaing dengan ilmu pendidikan di luar negri. Dengan adanya liberalisasi pendidikan tentunya akan membawa dampak positif terhadap perkembangan ilmu pendidikan dalam pengembangan bangsa indonesia. Permasalahan dalam penulisan ini menitik beratkan pada permasalahan rendahnya kualitas pendidikan di bidang teknologi informasi dan persiapan kebijakan-kebijakan peraturan Indonesia terkait liberalisasi pendidikan dengan tujuan agar dengan adanya liberalisasi pendidikan mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan sumber daya manusia berkualitas di era Industri 4.0.
